Ok I have two jobs at the current moment. One I am a server and the
other job I am a reader for a partially blind lady. I was friends with
her before I started to read she seem nice but a tad bit self involved
and that cool she an only child but not a child any longer. She is a
grown woman... back to the story.
Well... the good thing about my second job I make my own hours in a
since we both have sit down with our schedule and find out what days we
are going to meet.
So school started and when plan to play the first week by ear so I get
no calls and then when I do it for her to explain to me that she has
other business to take care of cool take care of your businesses, but
on the other hand she is now in a relationship that take up most of her
time and she try to accommodate her gf and herself.
Her GF live on the SE (south east side of Houston) I live on the sw
(south west) and work in mid-town. I get a call at the last minute to
tell me that she is not at home where we normally read, she is
"supposedly stuck on the SE side of Houston" She wanted to know if I
could come over to that side of town and read to her she do not know
where yet but some where in that area. I was like, " I only have a
quarter tank of gas and the money I made today goes to child care so I
can not make it to her drive around (it would take me about 45 min. to
make it to her if its no heavy traffic and then it was bad weather
yesterday), till she finds a place she wants to read and then drive 45
min back home cause I do not have money for the toll so I can make it
home in at least 20 min. So she shouldn't a little P.O at me. She ask
me when is another good time then for me to read to her I am like
Thursday after 4pm ummm... no that's not good for me before I could
even finish and then I said Friday NO I can't do that then she like ok
Saturday we can do and we will set up this and that and this Im like
WHOA... I have plans on Saturday. She tells me NO YOU dont you promise
to read to me on Saturday but I have class and study group after that
and that. Then she is like NO YOU Promise and she start to get huffy
with me and I am like well fine is I said it then I guess I did I
cancel my plans for SAT to accommodate you and then she get an attitude
like no forget it and tells me I just have you read to me only for my
one class which is a class that her and her gf attends so not only am I
dealing with one blind person I am reading for two and thats not the
half of it with this chic and her ways.
So my thing is I have accommodated her so many times in this
situation:
She called and asked me to drive 45 min out of my way in the rain to
read at some unknown location Instead of driving 5 min out my way
that's on the way to my house. I told her I have barely any gas in my
car and she could of plainly offered to give me some cash so I can make
it out there and home and to work the next day but she didn't. She
wants to include her girl in her studies which is more of a hindrance
than a help at times and That I am turning in to the bad guy here I
think
SO my question is am I wrong for not going to read to her when she
called and told me she stuck granted we have not discussed location.
But this new location of hers was not in my plans she was not focused
on accommodating no one but her mom and grandma and now she wants to
accommodate her new boo but that means she need to discuss with me the
new terms and that she might not be at her house but in other locations
and we need to renegotiate my time and pay and that I should get paid
for driving. | | |
| Dang, I am getting old or sum thing I have never been at my own house
before 10:00 pm I must be sick and I talked to my mother for like an
Hour about me and my friends ohhhhhhhhhh reconnecting is so wonderful.
well today was a good day went and had a wonderful work out got a good
sweat going (thanks *wink). Got some grub and had a few chuckles and
convo with a wonderful friend. Went home and decided not to waste such
a beautiful day indoor's I grab my beautiful clone and headed for the
park. Hell lets just plan family day all together. Called up my Homies
Mr. and Mz. TJ and asked them what where their plans for the day so
they where headed where we was going so I called up Xavie and asked
would you like to join a nice day in the park with the new parents and
me an old one. And we went to the park where lil Keeva (Ayanna) is
throwing whole slices of bread at Duck that do not want any bread how
entertaining watching a piece of bread float in water. Well we walked
watched yanna play and almost got pooed on by some Birds, watch yanna
run in circles and race the men folk and then want to race me of course
I cheated and yanna got mad, then watch the gorgeous Mz. Ava get a lil
huffy because she was tired of being in her pimpin' carriage. So we
discussed where can we eat on a budget and went 3 places and ended up
at the dessert gallery. Love the good food and the yummy cakes (hey a
girl got to eat). Said our goodbyes to the new parents and went to rent
a movie from the great Hollywood. Was headed back to the 2nd homestead
but decided I was tired after the early morning sweat I worked up and
decide to call it a night and here I barely can keep my eyes open and
sleeping in my bed for once this Saturday WOW I am at home and still
not sleep yet

Dang It has been a long time since I post been busy getting the new
year started off with a new life a new start a new beging. I know that
2005 was a year to get rid of the trash in my life and now I am doing a
lot better and full of joy and happiness. My King and I are making
changes in both our lives. We have both egarlly awaited for him to
start consouing and then we are goign to start couples cousoling NOT
because we need because we want it to better understan one another to
communicate more to just know our bounderies as well to learn about
each other since my baby is talking his steps into manhood. We both
feel we need the therapy because of the past relationships we where
both in for 4 years we do not want to end up in the same situation
trying to run and Hide from thge relationship becasue of problems. Hell
all relationship have there problems it ups and downs but we all do not
know how to handle them well Thank you for reading I add lata I am
